What I help with

ADHD medication management and brief therapy in Suwanee

I work with attention problems that are starting to affect work, school, home, or how you get through the day. In our visits, I look at what’s getting in the way and we sort through what support makes sense.

What people bring me

People often come in feeling scattered, behind, or stuck starting things they know matter. They may lose track of tasks, forget what they meant to do, or find that small interruptions throw off the whole day. Some feel worn down by unfinished projects, missed details, or the strain of trying to keep up. Others have spent a long time wondering why focusing takes so much effort, even when they care about what they're doing.

  • I keep losing track of what I was just doing.
  • I start one thing and end up on five others.
  • I’m always playing catch-up.
  • I can’t seem to stay with boring tasks.

I use conversation and clinical assessment to understand what attention looks like in your life.

How I work with it

I use conversation and clinical assessment to get a full picture of what you’re dealing with. Depending on what fits, your plan may include medication management, brief therapy, pharmacogenetic testing, or a combination of these services. I keep monitoring how things are going and revisit the plan as I learn more. If ADHD is part of a bigger picture, I pay attention to sleep, mood, stress, and the rest of daily functioning too.

Medication Management
For ADHD, this can involve choosing and adjusting medication with close attention to how it affects focus, energy, and daily functioning. I review what you’re noticing and keep the plan grounded in your actual day, not just one symptom.
Brief Therapy
This gives us a place to talk through the habits, stress, and frustration that can build around attention problems. We may focus on practical patterns in your routine, what gets in the way, and what you want to handle differently.
Pharmacogenetic Testing
When medication selection needs more information, I may discuss this as another tool. It can help guide the conversation if you’ve tried things before and want a clearer starting point.

What the first sessions look like

The first visits are about understanding what attention problems look like for you and what else may be affecting them. I ask about your history, your health, and what has or hasn’t helped before, and we talk through possible next steps together.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation. I reply as soon as I can, usually within 1 business day.

Questions people ask

How do you help with ADHD when I’m also overwhelmed all the time?

I look at the whole pattern, not just the attention piece. Stress, sleep, and mood can all affect focus, so I consider those along with your day-to-day difficulties.

What happens in ADHD appointments with you?

We talk about what attention problems look like in your life and what you’ve already tried. I use that conversation, along with clinical assessment, to shape the plan.

Do you only use medication for ADHD?

No. Your plan may include medication management, brief therapy, pharmacogenetic testing, or a combination of these services.

What if I’m not sure it’s really ADHD?

You don’t have to sort that out before coming in. I start with your concerns, your history, and what has been getting in the way, then we talk through what fits.
